The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is April 14th

The King of All Media, Howard Stern, is inducting Bon Jovi into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this April. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi appeared on Stern’s SiriusXM show this morning (Wed, Jan 17th) to make the announcement.

“I am so honored that you asked me. I am thrilled to do it,” Stern tells Bon Jovi.

The 33rd annual induction ceremony is set to take place on April 14th and will be broadcast on SiriusXM as well as HBO. Joining Bon Jovi on the Rock Hall’s 2018 roster are Dire Straits, the Moody Blues, the Cars, Nina Simone, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe who is set to receive the Award for Early Influence.

Bon Jovi topped the 2018 Fan Vote Winners with 1.16 million votes. The group is expected to reunite with former guitarist Richie Sambora and former bassist Alec Jon Such for a performance of some of their biggest hits. More details as they become available.

The current lineup – featuring Bon Jovi, Tico Torres on drums, David Bryan on keys, Hugh McDonald on bass and Phil X and John Shanks on guitars – will hit the road for a two month North American tour in March. The This House Is Not For Sale 2018 Tour kicks off March 14th in Denver and runs through May 14th in Washington, DC.

The Grammy-winning band will celebrate their return to the road with the re-release of This House Is Not For Sale as a new version, containing two brand new songs, “When We Were Us” and “Walls,” available via all download and streaming partners on February 23rd.
