The run follows the release of his debut album
River House Artists/Warner Music Nashville’s skyrocketing Texas star Hudson Westbrook released “Funny Seeing You Here.” Accompanying this release is an exciting new video from Westbrook, directed by Emma Golden. The single is the newest preview of his anxiously awaited debut album, Texas Forever, out July 25th.
Written by Westbrook with Neil Medley, Dan Alley, and Ryan Beaver, the fourth track from the forthcoming album is a scathing breakup anthem stranding Hudson on the “outskirts of hope,” raising a glass to karma’s sweet irony when fate seats his ex at the next barstool.
Also featured on the forthcoming album Texas Forever are previously released singles “Texas Forever,” “House Again,” “Mine Tomorrow,” “Weatherman,” “Sober,” and “Dressed Down,” as well as ten unreleased tracks. Entirely co-penned by Westbrook and loaded with Texas-grown charisma, the anticipated record is a compelling, effortlessly charming tribute to coming of age in the Lone Star State, and a full-picture introduction to country music’s next big thing.
Following his nearly sold-out Take Your Time Tour and current 2025 Summer Tour, Westbrook has also announces his new Texas Forever Fall Tour.
