Track is from highly anticipated forthcoming album

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has officially released her new single and video for “I Am The Strip Club” via Bad Dreams Records/EMPIRE. The track, produced by J. White Did It, is a shiny and exciting return to Azalea’s earlier electronic mixtape sound, as she draws ties to her earlier dance-ready release, “Brazil,” the two tracks together begin to showcase and tease the electronic influence heard throughout her upcoming, highly anticipated third studio album, End of an Era.

Azalea wrote the video’s treatment herself and co-directed the video with Thom Kerr, streaming now on YouTube. The award-winning recording artist had specific intentions and dreams for the concept, which lead her to tap into the ballroom House of Balmain (seen in HBO Max’s Legendary), to collaborate and feature throughout the video, bringing her vision fully to life.

Longtime Azalea fans will spot nostalgic moments re-invented for this latest video. The opening scene shows Azalea walking down the highway, wearing the same look from her previous hit record “Work” from her debut album The New Classic. These nods to the past are just the beginning of hints leading to the release of End Of An Era.

“I Am The Strip Club” follows the release of “Brazil” alongside of Azalea’s bass-heavy track “Sip It” featuring Tyga, which only continues to demonstrate Azalea’s versatility in music. The official video for “Sip It” sparked praise from fans and press alike, with NME calling it “a sexually charged, neon-lit affair.”

In celebration of the release and upcoming album, Azalea is returning to touring this summer with Grammy-winning, independent international superstar, Pitbull. The I Feel Good Tour features 32 cities, kicking off August 20th at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit. Stops on the routing include XFINITY Center in Mansfield, MA; Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX; Ball Arena in Denver; Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.; and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The last show is October 13th at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL.
