The first-ever two day iHeartRadio Beach Ball takes place in September

iHeartRadio Canada is turning up the heat on iHeartRadio Beach Ball, announcing Lorde as a special guest for Day 1. iHeartRadio Canada’s first-ever two-day concert event takes place Sunday, September 3rd (Virgin Day) and Monday, September 4th (QMFM Day) in Vancouver at the PNE Amphitheatre, during B.C.’s legendary The Fair at the PNE.

Lorde rocketed to fame in 2013 at age 16, when her single “Royals” went seven-times platinum, making her the youngest solo artist and only New Zealander to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since 1987. Her full-length debut, Pure Heroine, went triple-platinum, winning her two Grammy Awards in 2013. Having been included in Forbes’ 30 under 30 list, and hailed as one of the most influential teenagers in the world by TIME, Lorde returns with her new single “Green Light,” from her second full-length album Melodrama.

Lorde joins an already packed lineup for Virgin Day (September 3rd), including Alessia Cara, Liam Payne, Scott Helman, Shawn Hook, The Strumbellas, and Virginia to Vegas. Performers confirmed for QMFM day (September 4th) are Blondie, Christian Hudson, Ruth B, Serena Ryder, and Train. Additional talent announcements will be made in the coming weeks.

Tickets are available now at ticketleader.ca from $69-119 each day. In addition, listeners of iHeartRadio Canada stations across Vancouver, including Virgin Radio Vancouver and QMFM, are encouraged to stay tuned for promotional offers and ticket giveaways to iHeartRadio Beach Ball.
