This past weekend saw White return to NBC’s Saturday Night Live for the fifth time in his career, offering up a towering performance on the Woody Harrelson-hosted episode. The first performance saw White and his band light up SNL’s famed Studio 8H with a fiery medley of “Taking Me Back” and “Fear of the Dawn” – the opening tracks on the first of White’s two 2022 solo albums, Fear of the Dawn. The quartet returned later in the evening for a swinging rendition of “A Tip From You To Me,” one of the many standouts featured on last year’s second solo album, Entering Heaven Alive.
