No Name black vinyl & CD arrive on September 13th
Jack White has announced the YouTube premiere of the official music video for “That’s How I’m Feeling,” from his acclaimed new album, No Name. The album is available now via Third Man Records at all DSPs and streaming services with vinyl and CD configurations arriving tomorrow (Fri, Sept 13th).
This weekend will see White and his band cross the Atlantic for a trio of eagerly awaited UK live dates, set for London’s Islington Assembly Hall on September 13th, Liverpool’s O2 Academy on September 14th, and Brighton’s Chalk on September 15th. The shows coincide with the third anniversary of Third Man Records’ first store outside the USA, Third Man Records London.
The announcement of the space’s September 2021 opening followed much speculation and guesswork from eagle-eyed Third Man fans, who noticed the painting of eight shams, rotating storefronts at 1 Marshall Street, Soho address. These fronts included “Frank Booth’s Oxygen Bar,” “Jack Sharp’s Upholstery Tacks,” and “Harry Lime’s Penicillin,” all of which claimed to be under the umbrella of the fantastical “Absurd Scam Family of Businesses.”
Last week, all UK subscribers to Third Man Records’ The Vault subscription service received a mysterious, physical invitation to actual pop-up shops of the aforementioned businesses, in the cities in which White is playing. The events – which will feature musical rarities never before seen in the world – are free and open to the public, although Vault invitation holders will receive priority access.
White – who has been traveling the US on his ongoing secretive No Name Tour, including sold-out shows earlier this week in Jersey City, New Haven, CT, and Cambridge, MA – will return to North America for a pair of headline festival performances at Memphis’s Mempho Music Festival on October 6th and Mexico City, MX’s Corona Capital CDMX on November 17th. Additional dates will be announced.
White’s sixth studio album, No Name officially arrived on Friday, August 2nd following its clandestine white-label appearance at Third Man Records locations that saw customers slip, guerilla-style, free unmarked vinyl copies in their shopping bags. True to his DIY roots, this record was recorded at White’s Third Man Studio throughout 2023 and 2024, pressed to vinyl at Third Man Pressing, and released by Third Man Records.
