James Blunt announces 2025 North American Back to Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour

The trek will hit the States, Canada & Mexico next summer

James Blunt has announced a North American leg for his 2025 Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour, celebrating one of the top ten best-selling albums of the Noughties. The 14-city run includes stops at Central Park Summerstage in New York City on June 17th and The Greek in Los Angeles on June 27th.

Blunt will further celebrate Back To Bedlam with a special remastered version of the album arriving October 11th, 20 years to the day of its initial release. Included in this special 20th-anniversary release comes a special version of the original album remastered for 2024 by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis, in addition to previously unreleased demos of the core songs from the album, plus previously unreleased songs from the Bedlam era.

Formats include a single red recycled color vinyl, 2 CD, 6-panel softpak with 16-page booklet, and available digitally.

“Iโ€™ve released seven studio albums, but Back To Bedlam was the one people actually bought. So on its 20th anniversary, the record label and I thought we should repackage it with some early demos, and milk it for all itโ€™s worth. It was one of the biggest selling albums of the Noughties, so hereโ€™s hoping it makes a dent in the 20โ€™s,” Blunt shares.

Back To Bedlam featured the global smash hit โ€œYouโ€™re Beautiful.โ€ Heโ€™s won two Brit Awards, and two Ivor Novello Awards and has received five Grammy nominations. As Blunt humbly approaches national treasure status in his native UK, he is widely regarded for his honesty, wit and charm, as showcased on record, on stage and with his ever-engaging social media banter.

Last year, Blunt released his seventh studio album Who We Used To Be featuring the heartbreakingly raw single โ€œThe Girl That Never Wasโ€ and standout track โ€œDark Thought.โ€ Who We Used To Be marked his first studio album since the acclaimed Once Upon A Mind in 2019, which featured standout single โ€œMonsters,โ€ a heartfelt song for his father. His recent greatest hits collection, 2021โ€™s The Stars Beneath My Feet, also features catalog highlights โ€œ1973,โ€ โ€œBonfire Heart,โ€ โ€œStay The Nightโ€ & more.

Next year, Blunt will play a round of dates across the UK, kicking off on February 11th in Belfast, and including Londonโ€™s O2 Arena on February 16th.
