Jameson Rodgers releases Luke Combs collaboration

“Cold Beer Calling My Name” is available digitally

Columbia Nashville/River House Artists rising star Jameson Rodgers has released a brand new track, โ€œCold Beer Calling My Name,โ€ featuring his former tour mate Luke Combs.

โ€œItโ€™s a fun, easy song, and I thought itโ€™d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Luke Combs. I asked Luke if heโ€™d like to sing on it โ€“ I know heโ€™s a cold beer drinker like myself โ€“ and luckily it worked out and Iโ€™m excited for everybody to hear it,โ€ Rodgers says of the track, which he co-wrote with Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym.

Rodgers spent 2019 wowing sold out crowds as an opener on Combsโ€™ Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, earning his reputation as a โ€œstellar performerโ€ (Spokesman-Review). He plans to continue his own headlining Grew Up In The Country Tour later this year.

Meanwhile, Rodgersโ€™ debut single โ€œSome Girlsโ€ continues to rise at country radio, entering the Top 30 this week. Heโ€™s also been keeping fans entertained with his weekly Saturday Nights Live series streaming on Facebook, recently hosting a 90โ€™s country tribute this past weekend.

Written by Michael Hardy, Jake Mitchell and C.J. Solar, the anthemic “Some Girls” is Rodgers’ first single released to country radio since signing a label deal as a partnership between River House Artists and Columbia Nashville. Initially making his mark on Music City as a behind-the-scenes songwriter, Rodgers has co-penned platinum-selling hits for Florida Georgia Line (Top 10 single โ€œTalk You Out of Itโ€) and Chris Lane (No. 1 smash โ€œI Donโ€™t Know About Youโ€), along with โ€œCamouflage Hatโ€ on Jason Aldeanโ€™s most recent album 9 and the title track of Luke Bryanโ€™s upcoming release Born Here Live Here Die Here. The rising country star has released two independent EPs, which together have amassed more than 92 million on-demand streams. Rodgers continues to work on his debut full-length album with producers Mickey Jack Cones, Chris Farren, and Jake Mitchell.
