Jason Aldean announces 2014 Burn It Down Tour

The clues that Jason Aldean has been sharing on his social media page for the past week have led up to the announcement of his 2014 Burn It Down Tour a day earlier than expected via his official mobile app.

The singer confirmed on the January 9th edition of ABC’s Good Morning America that Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr will be the opening acts on the 45 date tour which kicks off May 1st in Roanoke, VA. Miranda Lambert will tag along for three shows when they stop in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

While most dates and venues have yet to be revealed as of press time, the tour will stop at baseball stadiums and amphitheaters throughout the country.

Aldean has teamed up with Major League Baseball for the tour, “We’ve always had a great relationship with MLB, so when the opportunity came up to work with them on a bigger level, it was a no brainer.”

Tickets for select shows will go on sale January 24th as part of the 2014 Megaticket through Live Nation.

In the midst of the tour, Aldean will stop by AT&T Stadium in Dallas and perform three songs as part of George Strait’s final “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” stop on June 7th. Tickets for this even have been sold out for months.
