Two-time ACM “Male Vocalist Of The Year” Jason Aldean’s just-released lead single “Burnin’ It Down” exploded into the top selling spot in the country tallying 183,672 total digital sales. With a total of 135 stations on board, the lead single from his upcoming sixth studio album for Broken Bow Records also received the most first-week radio adds of any single in Aldean’s career.
The new single comes alongside Aldean’s massive stadium run as part of his headlining Burn It Down 2014 Tour. Following two recent back-to-back stadium sellouts, this past weekend Aldean played shows at Nationals Park (Washington, DC on July 25th) and PNC Park (Pittsburgh, PA on July 26th). His performances have resonated with fans and media alike, when “the crowd sang along, loving every minute” (Cincinnati Enquirer) and the critics claimed, “there was no denying its sheer full-throttle power” (Pittsburgh Post Gazette).
Aldean will round out the successful run with his upcoming performance this weekend at Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia, PA on August 1st).
