Nettles teased fans via Twitter on December 8th.

Chicago is a musical tale of “murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery—all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts.” The iconic musical is based on a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse and features a score by John Kander and Ebb. The current cast includes Amy Spanger, Amra-Faye-Wright as Velma Kelly, Pasquale Aleardi as Billy Flynn, Paul C. Vogt as Amos Hart, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Matron “Mama” Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
Nettles burst onto the music scene in 2003 with Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall as Sugarland. After Hall left the group, the pair decided to stay a duo who would later win two Grammys for their 2009 hit “Stay.” Nettles would also win a Grammy for her collaboration with Bon Jovi on “Who Says You Can’t Go Home?” Nettles first solo record, That Girl, was released earlier this year.
There’s already talk that Nettles could extend her engagement as her 2015 tour schedule is clear as of press time.
