Jerrod Niemann is back on airwaves now with his brand new single, “Blue Bandana.” Set to officially impact country radio on July 27th, fans won’t find a more fitting soundtrack to the summer of ’15 and seasons beyond.
Niemann recalls the first time he heard the demo of “Blue Bandana,” co-penned by Ben Goldsmith, C.J. Solar and Andrew Scott Wills. “This song made me smile and reflect back on concerts I either performed at or attended. The writers did an amazing job working so many cool music festivals into the song.” The melody captures an open-air feeling…very liberating and refreshing. “Of course,” he laughs, “I wish they’d had enough room to include each of the festivals I’ve played…but that would be one super long song!”
Niemann continues, “Most importantly, I can’t sing or listen to ‘Blue Bandana’ without seeing so many faces from previous shows singing back at me! The lyrics speak of the love affair between fans and music!” He enthuses, “It’s exhilarating to see people who have traveled for so many miles and have waited a day or two to get a place near the stage to hear a guy like me sing a song like this. That’s why I couldn’t help but fall in love with ‘Blue Bandana’!”
Recently, via social media, Niemann revealed his new single’s title, artwork and a teaser snippet of the song.
Produced by Jimmie Lee Sloas and Jerrod Niemann, “Blue Bandana” is the lead track from the Sea Gayle Records/Arista Nashville recording artist’s forthcoming album due out in early 2016.
