Jesse & The Rippers perform medley on ‘Late Night’

Jimmy Fallon hosted a mini Full House reunion

Jesse & The Rippers reunited Friday (July 19th) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform a medley of the band’s greatest hits, including the Full House theme song. The band, performing to a backing track as they did on the show, played “Forever,” Elvis’ “Little Sister,” The Beatles’ “Hippy, Hippy Shake” and wrapped with the “Everywhere You Look,” everyone’s favorite theme song we all grew up singing.

John Stamos fronted the fictional band in full Uncle Jesse attire, including the long haired wig and leather vest he sported throughout the series’ eight year run. Fallon introduced the group as Jesse & The Rippers, a “great band from San Francisco,” and noted that their single from 1992, “Forever,” was a number one hit. He never mentioned Stamos as fronting the band.

Stamos teased fans all week about the impending reunion.

He posted this on Instagram prior to show time.

On Thursday, he shared a photo of the Uncle Jesse’s outfit, but that post has since been removed.

Co-stars Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin also made an appearance for the reunion.
