Jessica Lynn releasing ‘Getaway Car’

Track is available Jan 29th

Jessica Lynn hits 2021 running with her brand new single, “Getaway Car,” bringing plenty of vibes and verve to a bleak-starting New Year. The track is available Friday, January 29th.

“’Getaway Car’ is one of my favorite tracks off my upcoming record,” Jessica says. “It’s a fun, feel-good love song that will definitely uplift your spirits! Heading in to 2021, I wanted to start the year off right with lots of good vibes and I’m so excited for this release!”

Starting with a well-baited, tasty guitar hook and harmonious vocals, “Getaway Car” brims with positive energy, playing on the free-roaming driving that so infuses American dreams and culture. The imagery feels even more vivid in these grey, locked-down months the world has been experiencing. Jessica’s voice is full of infectious enthusiasm and joie de vivre. In a word, the feel of this song is exhilaration: in more words — love of life, love of open road freedom — and love of love.

“Getaway Car” is taken from Jessica’s new album, Lone Rider, due later this year, which she still hopes to bring live in 2021 (COVID-control conditions permitting) on her Lone Rider headlining tour, having had to reschedule it from summer 2020.

“As sad as I was… for our cancellation, I have been able to connect with everyone in such a special way via my livestreaming performances and have made so many new friends and fans,” she adds. “I cannot wait to see you all and will work on an even bigger and better show in the meantime, as well as releasing a lot of new music for you.”

Sure enough, despite missing the buzz of live performance and touring, and contact with her fans, the New York native has focused her energies on creating new material and on becoming a leading livestreamer. She was live entertainment experts Pollstar’s Top 5 of livestreams on the internet recently and was named one of Pollstar’s Top 40 Livestreamers of 2020!

In other news, Jessica is featured on the cover of the leading international independent country music magazine Maverick Magazine this month and was featured on the cover of Guitar Girl Magazine last month.
