Joe Jonas, Khalid unveil ‘Not Alone’

Track is from forthcoming film Devotion

In honor of Veterans Day, 2x Grammy Award-nominated multi-Platinum superstar, co-founder of Jonas Brothers and DNCE, and actor Joe Jonas unveils a new single “Not Alone” with global superstar Khalid as the end title and theme song for Columbia Pictures and Black Label Media’s forthcoming aerial war epic Devotion via Republic Records. The film opens exclusively in theaters everywhere on November 23rd.

Devotion tells the inspirational true story of the unbreakable friendship between two of the Korean War’s most decorated and elite US Navy fighter pilots Jesse Brown [Jonathan Majors] and Tom Hudner [Glen Powell] with Jonas in the role of Marty Goode. Director JD Dillard reached out to Jonas and iconic producer Ryan Tedder in order to pen the theme. The relationship between Brown and his wife instantly resonated due to the pilot’s pledge she’ll never be alone. After screening the film, Tedder and Jonas brought the song to life with help from producer HARV and Khalid. Now, it stands out as a moving moment rooted in robust piano, epic orchestration, and a soulful, stirring, and show-stopping call-and-response between Jonas and Khalid. It hinges on the hook, “You are not alone, I’ll watch over you, won’t let you go.”

To celebrate the arrival of the song, Jonas guests on The Late Late Show with James Corden on November 15th. On November 22nd, the eve of Devotion’s theatrical premiere,, he appears on The Kelly Clarkson Show for an interview and the television debut performance of “Not Alone (Devotion)” with Khalid.
