Rocker will take over The Blend on April 24th
Jon Bon Jovi will take over SiriusXM’s The Blend (Ch. 16) on Friday, April 24th at noon ET to play music and share stories as part of SiriusXM’s ongoing Home DJ Series.
Listeners will hear Bon Jovi straight from his home studio in Middletown, New Jersey as he plays the best Blend tracks while sharing meaningful commentary on musicians he loves — including Dylan, The Beatles, and his neighbor, Springsteen. He’ll also be sharing his top five favorite albums from newer artists and binge-worthy Netflix picks (shout out to Tiger King, Ozark, and The Crown).
Fans can also expect to hear more about his plans for his upcoming Bon Jovi 2020 album that was delayed from May 2020 due to COVID-19, but is still planned to be released this year. Fans will also receive a special thank you from Bon Jovi for helping him write the first chorus and verse of his new song, “Do What You Can,” which will appear on new album. After canceling the Bon Jovi 2020 Tour with Bryan Adams, he looks forward to “getting back out there and seeing your smiling faces.” The rock legend will also share advice from him and his family about their shelter-in-place spring cleaning.
The exclusive virtual takeover is part of SiriusXM’s Home DJ Series, where stars take over SiriusXM music channels and play their favorite songs for listeners across North America. After Bon Jovi’s one-hour session on The Blend premieres, listeners can hear replays on April 24th at 3 pm ET, April 25th at 9 am and 9 pm ET, April 26th at noon ET and April 27th at 11 am and 6 pm ET, as well as On Demand.
The Blend is available to subscribers nationwide on SiriusXM radios and to everyone including anyone who is not already a subscriber via the SiriusXM app and connected devices as part of our recently announced free streaming access period through May 15th.
Swift launched the Home DJ Series on SiriusXM’s top pop channel SiriusXM Hits 1 on Friday, April 3rd.
