JP Saxe releases ‘A Little Bit Yours’ video

Follow up is to platinum-certified “If The World Was Ending” featuring Julia Michaels

Critically acclaimed and rising singer-songwriter and musician JP Saxe releases a cinematic and powerful official music video for his emotionally stirring newest track “A Little Bit Yours” via Arista Records. The signature heart-wrenching ballad was co-written with and produced by Ryan Marrone and Benjamin Rice.

Beloved by the artist community, Saxe has been publicly praised in recent weeks by Demi Lovato, Maren Morris, Camila Cabello, Alessia Cara, Sam Smith, Lewis Capaldi and more for his raw and honest lyrics. Last week, PEOPLE Magazine included Saxe in the Top 5 of their Artists To Watch list, for those “making their mark on the musical landscape.” Saxe secured the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart for two straight weeks in a row.

“The song is the feeling right before the end of the tunnel, right before life got a different kind of beautiful than I ever could have anticipated,” Saxe says of the track. “I learned a lot about myself writing it, both musically and emotionally. I’d never really sung like this before, which was scary. Lyrical vulnerability I’ve gotten used to, but vocal vulnerability is new. If I could only ever play you one more new song, this is the one I would pick.”

“A Little Bit Yours” arrives on the heels of Saxe’s VMAs debut alongside Julia Michaels in partnership with Extra Gum. The stripped-back performance, which Vulture praised as “gorgeous,” was dedicated to frontline workers and everyday heroes at home.

Saxe’s current single “If The Word Was Ending” continues to reach new heights 11 months following its release. The song is approaching its 24th week on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, has over one billion streams, over 100 million video views, and is platinum in the U.S. and Canada, among other territories. The song was produced by five-time GRAMMY Award-winner, FINNEAS. In May, Saxe and Michaels released a new video of their song, featuring special guests like GRAMMY Award-winner Alessia Cara, two-time GRAMMY Award-winner H.E.R, four-time GRAMMY Award-winner Keith Urban, GRAMMY Award-nominated artist Kesha, Niall Horan, four-time GRAMMY Award-winner Sam Smith, GRAMMY Award-winner Anthony Ramos. Proceeds were donated to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in its global response to COVID-19.
