Judas Priest announce ‘Redeemer Of Souls’ for July

It’s the band’s first album since 2008

Heavy metal titans Judas Priest are set to release their 17th studio album, Redeemer Of Souls, on July 15th via Epic Records in the US and Columbia Records in the UK on July 14th. The album will be the first record with guitarist Richie Faulkner, replaced founding member KK Downing in 2011. It will also be the band’s first album since 2008’s Nostradamus.

Guitarist Glenn Tipton told fans what they should expect from the record, “Sometimes in the past we may have come under fire for being too adventurous musically – so we have listened,” he said. “From start to finish, Redeemer of Souls is 18 songs of pure classic-Priest metal.”

The band debuted the title track on Monday, exclaiming, “We are revved up and ready to UNLEASH the PRIEST one more time for our metal fans around the world – so here’s a track for you to listen to entitled ‘Redeemer of Souls’ from our new album of the same title!”
