Legends Never Die debuts at top of Billboard 200

Grade A Productions/Interscope Records artist Juice WRLD’s powerful legacy reverberated around the world with the release of Legends Never Die which has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with the biggest week of 2020 earning 497,000 in sales eclipsing The Weeknd’s After Hours. Legends Never Die makes history as the most successful posthumous debut since Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death (690K) and Tupac’s R U Still Down (549K) in 1997. The critically acclaimed and universally beloved artist’s album marks the biggest album debut, total consumption, since Taylor Swift’s Lover.

In addition, Juice WRLD’s Legends scores the biggest audio streaming week of the year and the fourth biggest streaming week ever for an album surpassing Lil Uzi Vert’s album Eternal Atake and secures the biggest video streaming week of the year for any album besting Lil Baby’s My Turn. Legends Never Die is the fourth biggest streaming debut ever with 422 million streams behind Drake’s Scorpion [746M], Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V [433M], and Post Malone’s Beerbongs and Bentleys [431M].

The album has dominated charts around the world landing at No. 1 in the UK, Canada, and Ireland where Juice WRLD out sold the No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 albums combined, and additional territories.

Juice WRLD’s platinum-certified debut, Goodbye & Good Riddance, peaked in the Top 5 on the charts in the US. His follow-up Death Race For Love debuted at No. 1 in the US and has been certified gold and Future & Juice Wrld Present… WRLD ON DRUGS, a collaborative mixtape with rapper Future, debuted at No. 2 in the US.

The rapper died on December 8th from a seizure at 21 years old. Earlier this year, Juice’s mother, Carmela Wallace establishment of the Live Free 999 Fund which will receive additional support via Grade A and Interscope Records. The Live Free 999 Fund will honor the legacy of her son by supporting young people in their battles and to do so with love, joy, and emotional honesty.
