Juna N Joey honor Veterans with ‘Heroes’

Single released on Veterans Day 2020

Brother and sister singer/songwriters Juna N Joey are honoring American Veterans with their new song “Heroes,” available now at all streaming outlets.

Juna N Joey’s new single offers patriotic, uplifting lyrics that celebrate our Veterans – the heroes of our country. Melodically, “Heroes” is an upbeat song that provides a classic, country sound. The song highlights the duo’s rich harmonies and highlights their passion for helping and celebrating others. Juna N Joey first heard the song “Heroes” after Stacy, the daughter of the late hit songwriter Ray Buzzeo, asked if they would be interested in recording the song. After learning that Ray himself was a Veteran, the duo decided to record and release the single.

“This song is a tribute to all the American veterans and those who continue to serve today,” Joey explains. “This Veteran’s Day,
we hope to honor our veterans and thank them for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom.”

Juna N Joey’s passion for uplifting and celebrating others comes on the heels of their “Find Your Anchor” campaign for bullying prevention that kicked off earlier this month. The duo released their original song, “Anchor,” and partnered with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to encourage and spread bullying prevention tips.

Building on their YouTube success, the West Palm Beach, FL natives had an exciting 2019. DreamWorks TV asked Juna N Joey to participate in the Netflix original, Spirit Riding Free, by offering their rendition of Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” for the show. Additionally, the duo took their songwriting skills to Nashville, where they co-wrote their first single, “Stay Young.” The single caught the attention of Release Radar on Spotify and country radio, earning them an offer to open for American Idol alum’s Cade Foehner on his Southern Hallelujah Tour before they could even begin promoting the song. Juna N Joey also joined the Gratitude Tour, spending the summer performing for Michael Rouse’s ESF camps.

As brother and sister turned singer/songwriters, Juna N Joey’s popularity first exploded when they began posting musical covers and originals on YouTube. With their smooth harmonies and combined skills ranging from playing the guitar, piano, keyboard, and saxophone, their talent stands up among some of the industry’s most seasoned artists and musicians.
