‘Jurassic Park’ soundtrack gets two special edition LPs

Jurassic Park is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, and the folks at Mondo are celebrating by reissuing the film’s soundtrack by John Williams on vinyl in two very special editions on June 11th, the 21st anniversary of the film’s theatrical release.

Both editions will be pressed on 180-gram two disc vinyl known as Version A and Version B. Version A is pressed on 180-gram Black Vinyl with randomly inserted “Dilophosaurus” colored vinyl. It also features familiar artwork by JC Richard. Version B, featuring all new artwork by Dan McCarthy, is limited to 1,000 copies and is pressed on 180-gram Translucent Amber Vinyl.

Mondo is the exclusive vendor for this release as it will not be distributed to stores. If you want to pick up a copy of it, you need to do so by visiting their online store June 11th. Both copies are being sold for $35 each. You can also see more photos at their website.

Jurassic World, aka Jurassic Park 4, is currently filming and is set to open in theaters Summer 2015.
