Justin Bieber surprise releases Easter EP

Gospel-inspired six song set available now

Justin Bieber surprised fans on Easter with Freedom, a gospel-inspired six song EP. The pop star released it on streaming outlets on Sunday (April 4th).

“Freedom on all platforms,” Bieber writes.

Five of the six tracks are collaborations with Tori Kelly, Beam, Chandler Moore, Pink Sweats, Judah Smith and Lauren Walters.

The EP follows Justice, his eighth No. 1 album on the Billboard Top 200 chart, that was released on March 19th. A Deluxe Edition followed three days later featuring double the content of its standard version.

Justice marks the second-biggest week of 2021 after Dangerous debuted with 265k on the January 23rd-dated chart.

All ten of Bieber’s albums have reached the Top 10, missing the top slot only twice with My World Acoustic (No. 7) and My World EP (No. 5), both released in 2010.
