The song is a heart-rending salute to the local military
Arkansas native Justin Moore is no stranger to poignant tributes to our military. That’s no different with his new single, “Love Your Hometown,” a powerful salute to the small-town heroes who leave home to fight for our country.
Written by Moore alongside regular collaborators Will Bundy, Randy Montana and Jeremy Stover, “Love Your Hometown” serves as a prequel to Moore’s No. 1 song “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home.” Offering a profound reminder of a way of life all too familiar for rural America, Moore shares the perspective of those back home who are waiting for loved ones to return.
“Love Your Hometown” is the latest preview of Moore’s eighth studio album This Is My Dirt, coming October 11th via The Valory Music Co. The new track follows “Put A Boot In It” and “The Worst” featuring Randy Houser, as well as the album’s title track, which is currently No. 6 (and climbing) at country radio.
Moore is currently co-headlining the Country Round Here Tonight Tour alongside Randy Houser. The tour includes a show at the iconic Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, as well as a home state stop in Rogers, AR, before wrapping up in St. Louis on October 12th.
