First track from sixth studio album due in 2021
Justin Moore proves you don’t need much to be happy — sometimes all it takes is a good swimming hole, Sunday chicken and a loyal dog and family. On his new single “We Didn’t Have Much” (The Valory Music Co.), Moore reminisces on his simple upbringing and appreciates life’s most precious moments — from childhood to leaving home at 18; falling in love for the first time and more.
Produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta, “We Didn’t Have Much” will be the first single off Moore’s sixth studio album, due in 2021. The Stover, Randy Montana (George Strait, Luke Combs, Jon Pardi) and Paul DiGiovanni (Boys Like Girls)-penned track continues Moore’s trend of country traditionalism, vivid storytelling and signature Arkansas-bred twang.
“I’m really excited to get ‘We Didn’t Have Much’ out to country radio,” shares Moore. “It sounds different than any other song we’ve released to radio in my career. I think it’s a poignant lyric for this time in our lives also. 2020 has led my family and I to lead a more simple life than what we are accustomed to. This song speaks to the beauty in that simplicity.”
Since quarantine, Moore has been busy hosting his new Justin Moore Podcast with tour manager JR. The two have interviewed guests such as Tracy Lawrence, Jon Pardi, Brantley Gilbert, wrestling champion Diamond Dallas Page, ESPN’s Marty Smith and many more. He released his Live at the Ryman album on September 25th, and his song “Why We Drink” became his ninth No. 1 single.
