Album release takes place in Atlanta
Kanye West is hosting a Donda album listening event party on Thursday, July 22nd at 8 pm at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The public event follows a listening party at Church LV in Las Vegas over the weekend. It’s also rumored the album will drop this week.
Tickets are on sale today (Mon, July 19th) at 5 pm ET via Ticketmaster. Tickets for this event are $20 and $50.
Donda is named after his late mother who passed away in 2017 following complications from plastic surgery.
The album is West’s first full-length project since 2019’s Jesus Is King. He surprised dropped Emmanuel, featuring five tracks, on Christmas Day 2020.
Earlier this year, West was named the richest man in US black history after his net worth soared from the project $3.3 billion to $6.6 billion. West earned the title through his Yeezy sneaker and apparel company in which he retains sole ownership and creative control. Yeezy is valued between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion following a partnership with Adidas through 2026.
