Kelsea Ballerini announces self-titled third album

Kelsea will be available March 20th

Kelsea Ballerini has shared that she’ll release her self-titled third album, Kelsea, on March 20th via Black River Entertainment. Preorders will be available beginning Friday, January 24th.

The singer shared the news on Twitter this week. “my third album, kelsea, will be released march 20th and will be available for preorder/presave this friday,” she tweets along with the cover art.

The project is her most personal to date, but no further details have been unveiled as of press time.

The album will include her latest single “Homecoming Queen?” Upon its release last September, the song secured the highest debut of her career on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with 107 total adds, making it that week’s Most Added new song. The country starlet also notably debuted at No. 22 on the chart – marking her highest debut to date.

It’ll be two and a half years since her last album, Unapologetically, was released, featuring “Miss Me More” and “Legends.” The project marked her second Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200.

With multiple platinum singles, her total streams exceed two billion to date.

Last spring, Ballerini was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry as the youngest living member, surpassing Chris Janson when he was inducted in March 2018.
