Kick-Off Country Jam canceled

Refunds are being issued

The inaugural Kick-Off Country Jam featuring Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, and Alabama this Labor Day Weekend has been canceled. The event was slated to be held from August 30th through September 1st at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, but producers pulled the plug today (Fri, June 7th) after their signature event, Gulf Coast Jam, saw record crowds.

“After the success of Gulf Coast Jam this past weekend in Panama City Beach, we realized the weekend after Memorial Day is a much better time to host a festival,” producers share. “So, we are going to cancel Kickoff Jam and provide refunds.”

No further details were shared and no additional comments were offered upon reaching out.

Three-day passes ranged from $299 to $1399 with financing plans available.

Jamey Johnson, Tyler Farr, Gavin Adcock, Pam Tillis, Catie Offerman, Needtobreathe, Lauren Alaina, Restless Road, Carter Faith, Kayley Green, Allie Colleen, Mackenzie Carpenter, Rhett Akins, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Randy Houser were all set to perform alongside the headliners. Randy Travis was slated to make a special appearance with Alabama.

The 2024 Gulf Coast Jam saw approximately 120,000 country music fans fill the festival grounds over four days to witness headliners Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, and Parker McCollum perform with more than 20 other artists. Jammers from all 50 states and ten foreign countries descended on beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida for stunning beaches and the best country music has to offer.
