Kid Rock rants in ‘Don’t Tell Me How to Live’

Song is available digitally

Kid Rock has released his latest single, “Don’t Tell Me How to Live.” In the controversial NSFW track, the outspoken conservative rapper/rocker/country singer lashes out against woke culture and mainstream media’s agenda.

“A nation of pussies is our next generation / And these minions and their agendas / Every opinion has a Millennial offended / But this Amendment One it rings true / And if you dissent, bitch, then see number two.”

The track was recorded with Canadian rockers Monster Truck, Bones Owens and Tim Montana. It’s Rock’s first new music since 2017.

As of press time, no word if the song will appear on Rock’s forthcoming 50 song “triple album” he was planning to release in 2021. Rock tells the Detroit Free Press the album features 10 hip hop tracks, 10 country tracks, 10 rock tracks and 20 previously unreleased recordings. The project was delayed to 2022 by the pandemic as Rock plans to embark on a 50 city tour, which he claims could possibly be his final major tour.

“I don’t want to be Mick Jagger up there,” he says, referring to his neck and knee issues. “I will say that’ll be the last time you can see me at my peak.”

We’ll have more details as they become available.
