Kings of Leon eye new album release, European tour

The album is slated for September with a summer tour

Kings of Leon bassist Caleb Followill has confirmed that the band’s new album has been completed and will be released in September.

Followill told NME that, “I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds. It’s like a mix of ‘Youth & Young Manhood’ and ‘Because Of The Times.”

In addition to the new album, the band will be touring Europe extensively this summer, along with three US dates in California, Alabama, and New York.

Here’s one of the band’s best-known songs, “Sex on Fire.”
