KISS announces newly rescheduled End of the Road dates

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers return to the stage Sept 9th

KISS has announced their newly rescheduled dates for their final tour, The End of the Road Tour. The rockers recently postponed five shows due to band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons testing positive for COVID-19. Following a 10-day quarantine, doctors have advised the tour is safely set to resume this Thursday, September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA.

Produced by Live Nation, the rest of the tour dates remain unchanged. Rescheduled 2021 tour dates below. The band has worked hard to reschedule postponed show dates to the best of their ability which will be performed in mid October.

Due to routing and availability, the show dates in Hartford, CT, Milwaukee, WI, and Raleigh, NC will be postponed to 2022. All previously purchased tickets and VIP packages will be honored for the new dates. More information will be emailed to ticketholders directly.

Last month, Simmons shared with us exclusively on The Music Universe Podcast that the band has safety practices in place to ensure the tour continues successfully.

“First of all we’re all gonna keep our staff safe because, you know, there are different laws in different states — and you can’t dictate to the fans, but once you get backstage, every road member, road crew, security, truck drivers, everybody’s gonna get vaccinated and wear masks. And the rest of you have a choice because you live in, ‘Oh so free America.’ There’s a law that says you have to wear a seatbelt and there isn’t a law that you have to wear a mask to protect others in case you infect them? That’s crazy.”

Simmons also confirms the band will not be meeting with fans on the trek due to the virus.

“That’s for the fans as well as us,” Simmons announces. “If one fan infects anyone of us, the entire tour is canceled and the insurance company goes insane and everybody sues each other — just one asshole who didn’t care about you — who cared only about his freedoms. Even as a courtesy when you yawn, you cover your mouth, don’t you? And you’re not willing to wear a mask that might endanger somebody else?”

Following the trek, the group will return to Las Vegas for an exclusive engagement at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, kicking off New Year’s Eve week with performances Wednesday, December 29th, Friday, December 31st and Saturday, January 1st. Additional shows are scheduled for January 19 – February 5, 2022.
