KISS releases first unreleased ‘Destroyer 45th Anniversary’ track

Classic 1976 album coming in deluxe format on Nov 19th

KISS announces the release of “Beth (Acoustic Mix),” the first unreleased track from KISS – Destroyer 45th Deluxe Editions. The original album version of “Beth” was released in 1976 and reached No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100. For the new acoustic mix, the original recorded acoustic guitar track was taken from the analog multi-tracks and has now been fully restored and mixed with the original piano, vocal and synthesizer tracks, adding a fresh yet familiar feel to this iconic recording.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary, Destroyer was originally released in 1976 and is considered to be one of the quintessential KISS albums. It is the band’s first album to sell one million copies in its first year and holds the title of being their all-time best selling studio album. Packed with concert staples and KISS Army favorites including “Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud,” “God Of Thunder” and “Beth,” on November 19th, UMe will release KISS – Destroyer 45th in the form of a Super Deluxe 4 CD + Blu-ray Audio box set as well as on standard double black vinyl and limited edition yellow and red double colored vinyl, 2 CD set, and digital.

The Super Deluxe box features an extravagant array of collectable KISS memorabilia and ephemera, including a complete recreation of the original KISS Army Kit with the original folder and KISS Army newsletter Volume 1 – No. 2 announcing the original album; two 8×10 Destroyer press photos; discography sheet; band bio sheet; KISS Army member certificate and membership card; KISS logo iron-on; sticker; “Detroit Rock City” bumper sticker; Destroyer cover sticker; 11×17 KISS on Westminster Bridge UK poster; and much more.
