KnuckleBonz announces Metallica Rock Iconz figures

The sets are expected to ship in early 2021

KnuckleBonz has announced The Metallica Rock Iconz statue collection will be released in 2021. The series features Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo during their WorldWired Tour in support of their latest album, Hardwired… To Self Destruct.

“We are so pleased and honored to be working with Metallica on these new limited edition collectibles for our series,” says Tony Simerman, CEO/Creative Director of KnuckleBonz, Inc. “We hope to create something that represents every era for Metallica from today back to the advent of Thrash.”

Fans can pre-order the limited edition collectibles via KnuckleBonz’s website. All Rock Iconz statues are officially licensed with each piece hand-cast, painted and numbered. Only 3000 will be created.

These statues are created in 1/9 scale, or eight and a half inches tall. Each statue comes with a certificate of authenticity on the base of the statue.

The figures can be ordered for $149 apiece or all four together for $536.

Other Rock Iconz include Scorpions, Ghost, AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Black Sabbath and others.

Metallica just released S&M2, the long awaited album documenting the two historic concerts that reunited the band and San Francisco Symphony for the first time in 20 years. Over the weekend, Metallica became the first rock band to be featured in the Encore Drive-In Nights series, with showings at hundreds of drive-in and outdoor theaters across the United States and Canada.
