The couple have two kids together
The estranged wife of Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis has died at the age of 39. Deven Davis passed away earlier Friday (Aug 17th) but no cause of death has been revealed as of press time. The former porn star had been in a sober home for drug abuse, but went AWOL last week and hadn’t been seen since.
“The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy — and the privacy of those close to the family — and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time,” the family says in a statement.
TMZ reports that Deven had struggled with major drug issues for more than 20 years, causing emotional harm to the couple’s two kids through neglect. Jonathan filed for divorce in October 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. The singer had filed a domestic violence restraining order earlier today which would’ve prevented Deven from seeing the kids, but she hadn’t been served.
Legal docs obtained by TMZ state Jonathan has claimed Deven would “routinely bring home unsavory characters, including strangers. Some of these people are random fans of my music who she allows to come into the house, go into the master bedroom closet and try on my clothes” when she would binge on drugs.
The docs claim Deven’s drug dealing boyfriend was passed out on the couch and Deven was found upstairs passed out on the floor when Jonathan recently dropped the kids off at her house. Jonathan also found a heroin pipe and cocaine floating in the toilet bowl.
The couple married in 2004 and have two children together. Our thoughts go out to the Davis family.
