The Netflix film soundtrack tops five digital charts
After releasing last Friday via Visva/Republic Records, KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) skyrockets straight to No. 1 on the iTunes Album, iTunes Pop Album, iTunes K-Pop Album, Apple Music Pop Album, and Apple Music K-Pop Album Charts. Since release, the film has slayed its debut week on Netflix with 9.2 million views and a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“Golden” makes itself a clear path to viral song of the summer, ascending the Spotify Global Top Songs Chart. In addition, “Golden,” “Your Idol,” and “How It’s Done” climb into the Top 50 of Apple Music Pop Songs Chart. The soundtrack making a Top 5 debut on the US & Global Spotify Top Albums Chart.
The soundtrack features original songs written by, Danny Chung, Ido, Vince, Kush, Ejae, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, Daniel Rojas, and produced by Teddy Park, 24, Ido, Dominsuk, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Ian Eisendrath. Original songs are performance by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga. The soundtrack also includes the original song “Takedown” featuring Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung from K-pop powerhouse girl group, Twice.
