Lady Gaga extends Mayhem Ball Tour with 2026 Japanese dates

Five dates are set for January

Following a series of global milestone performances ahead of her sold-out The Mayhem Ball Tour, 14-time Grammy Award and recent Emmy Award-winner Lady Gaga has announced tour dates in Japan for early 2026. Beginning Wednesday, January 21st she is set to play two nights at the Osaka Dome, followed by three performances at the Tokyo Dome—continuing the worldwide momentum of The Mayhem Ball.

Tickets for the newly added Japan tour dates will be available starting Wednesday, June 11th at noon local time with a Mastercard presale. Pre-order 1st Stage (Lottery) will follow starting Wednesday, June 18th.

The highly anticipated tour is in support of Gaga’s eighth studio album, Mayhem, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (marking Gaga’s seventh consecutive No. 1 solo album) and received widespread praise from critics and fans.

Following her 2025 headlining sets at Coachella, multiple stadium dates in Mexico City and Singapore, and a landmark free performance for an estimated 2.5 million fans on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro—the highest-attended concert by a female artist in history—Gaga officially launches The Mayhem Ball Tour July 16th in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. The tour features multiple nights in major cities including Seattle, New York, Miami, Toronto, Chicago, London, Stockholm, Milan, Barcelona, and Berlin, marking her first North American and Europe/UK trek since 2022’s Chromatica Ball Tour. She will also return to Australia for the first time in 11 years with five stadium shows in December.

Taking the world by storm, Mayhem debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has remained in the Top 20 for 12 consecutive weeks since its release. It also topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart—where it has held the No. 1 position throughout its entire run—and landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Pop Albums chart every week since debut. On the US LP Vinyl Albums chart, it entered at No. 1 and continues to sit in the Top 40, further underscoring its cross-format appeal.

With over 7.2 billion global streams to date and more than four million albums sold, Mayhem is among the year’s biggest global music releases. The album’s explosive performance propelled Gaga to nearly 125 million monthly listeners on Spotify—making her the most listened-to female artist in the platform’s history, with streaming numbers continuing to rise.

“Die With a Smile,” Gaga’s hit collaboration with Bruno Mars, has also shattered records across the board. It spent 18 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200—making it the second-longest running chart-topper in the chart’s history—and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it held for five weeks. On Spotify, it became the longest-running No. 1 song in the platform’s history, spending an unprecedented 201 days at the top of the global chart. It also holds the record as the fastest song ever to surpass 1 billion (in 96 days) and two billion (in 200 days) streams on Spotify. In total, the song has amassed 5.1 billion global streams, including 2.6 billion on Spotify alone.

Mayhem marks a return to Gaga’s pop roots, reaffirming that she is a master of reinvention, crafting an album that is as bold and eclectic as it is deeply personal. A declaration of artistic freedom, it embraces the fractured pieces of oneself and how they come together to form something unexpected and beautiful. The album mirrors this concept with its diverse sonic palette and thematic layers, combining elements of chaos, defiance, and vulnerability into a cohesive artistic statement. Gaga describes this process as assembling a shattered mirror: “Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something memorable and whole in its own way.”
