Gaga will headline both Saturdays

Lady Gaga is set to replace Beyoncé at Coachella 2017. Billboard reports the singer will headline both Saturdays, April 15th and 22nd, after Beyoncé canceled earlier this month due to her pregnancy.

Officials with organizers Goldenvoice and AEG Live are finalizing the plans and are expected to make an official announcement in the coming days. Lady Gaga is expected to bring her huge stage production to the two weekend festival held every April at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, CA.

The announcement comes less than a week after organizers announced that Beyoncé would move her headlining performance to 2018 after doctors suggested she take it easy for the duration of her pregnancy. Rumors began flying as to whether the pop star would be replaced or not.

“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said in a joint statement. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

Radiohead will headline Friday, April 14th and 21st and Kendrick Lamar will close Sunday, April 16th and 23rd.
