Album drops Oct 28th

Lainey Wilson will release her sophomore major label album on October 28th. The country star shared that Bell Bottom Country will be released on CD and digitally on October 28th via BBR Music Group.

“New album, #BellBottomCountry out Oct. 28. #WatermelonMoonshine out tomorrow. Pre-save or pre-add and listen to “Heart Like A Truck” now!” she writes on social media with a picture of the artwork displayed in Times Square in New York City.

Wilson co-wrote 13 of the album’s 14 tracks, including the new single, “Watermelon Moonshine” that’s due to hit digital outlets at midnight ET. The album’s final track is a cover of 4 Non Blonde’s “What’s Up (What’s Going On),” written by Linda Perry.

The project’s first single, “Heart Like A Truck,” was released in May. “Heart Like A Truck” is the follow up to her second No. 1, “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell, which reigned supreme at the top of the country radio charts for two weeks. The single was Wilson’s biggest radio success to date. She earned her first No. 1 with her breakout hit, “Things A Man Oughta Know,” which won Song of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards. The single, which earned her the title of Billboard’s Top New Country Artist of 2021, appeared on her critically acclaimed album, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’, which debuted in 2021 to mass critical acclaim.

This fall, Wilson can be seen as country singer Abby in a recurring role on the Paramount Network blockbuster, YellowstoneThe series returns for season five on November 13th with Wilson cast as a new character.
