LAMC alumni celebrate multiple Latin Grammy wins

Pitbull is among the winners

The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) would like to congratulate nine former LAMC performers who won Latin Grammy’s this year, including Gaby Moreno, Pitbull, Mala Rodriguez, Illya Kuriaki, La Vida Boheme, Beto Cuevas, Natalia Lafourcade, Bajofondo and Alex Cuba.

LAMC alumni won across a diverse array of categories, including Best New Artist, Best Rock Album, Best Urban Album, Best Alternative Album, Best Pop/Rock Album, Best Urban Performance, Best Instrumental Album and more.

As always, the LAMC is already looking towards next year, their 15th. This year the LAMC inaugurated an expanded focus on Latin creativity, from cuisine to film to literature and art, and next year the LAMC is excited to keep growing. Get ready for a big party, the LAMC’s Quinceañera coming in July 2014.
