Latto drops ‘Wheelie’ featuring 21 Savage

New albumย 777 drops Mar 25th

ATL-based Queen Of Da Souf rapper Latto releases her electric new single โ€œWheelieโ€ featuring 21 Savage via RCA Records. The Colin Tilley-directed (Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Justin Bieber) visual shows Latto โ€œpop it like a wheelieโ€ around Atlanta with a guest appearance from Savage. This latest drop follows the release of her top 20 Billboard hit single โ€œBig Energyโ€ and her melodic track โ€œSoufside,โ€ which paid homage to her roots in ATL. All three tracks will be on her forthcoming album 777 out March 25th and you can hear them live on her 777 Tour kicking of March 19th in Santa Cruz, CA.

From the past two years and counting, Lattoโ€™s made it known sheโ€™s the one you bitches hate, but they can’t get past. To start off 2021 , Latto released โ€œThe Biggest,โ€ the first official release under her new moniker, which explained the 23-year-old rapperโ€™s reasoning for the stage name change, her intentions and moving forward with this new phase of her career. Following that with the release of her hit single โ€œBig Energyโ€ in September 2021 has made Latto inescapable. The Tom-Tom Club-sampled โ€œGenius of Loveโ€ single just cracked top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, landing at No. 17, and is now RIAA-certified Gold. Itโ€™s also been dominating all radio platforms โ€“ reaching top 10 at pop and No. 1 at both urban and rhythm.

With this new chapter of her career, Lattoโ€™s star continues to rise. She received her first-ever nominations for โ€œBest New Artistโ€ and โ€œBest Female Hip-Hop Artistโ€ at the 2021 BET Awards. She followed that with performances at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards and 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). She performed a medley of โ€œBig Energyโ€ and โ€œSoufsideโ€ at the BET Hip Hop Awards and at the VMAโ€™s she gave fans a sneak peek snippet of โ€œBig Energyโ€ prior to its release along with performances of her RIAA-certified Platinum singles โ€œBitch From Da Soufโ€ and โ€œMuwopโ€ on their Extended Play Stage. In addition to her VMAs performance debut, she received her first VMA nomination for โ€œMTV Push Performance of the Yearโ€ for โ€œSex Lies.โ€ She was also nominated for two 2021 Soul Train Awards and one 2022 NAACP Image Award for Chris Brownโ€™s โ€œGo Crazy (Remix)โ€ with Young Thug, Lil Durk and Future.

From her appearance on LA Leakers with her viral freestyle to her feature on soundtracks for Halle Berryโ€™s Bruised and F9: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to her energetic appearances and sets at festivals, her elevation to the top remains unmatched. With over 880 million streams worldwide across all platforms and accolades continuing to rack up from her success, itโ€™s clear that Latto has set the stage to become a global superstar.
