Known for her outgoing persona and array of talents, Laura Bell Bundy will release Another Piece Of Me June 9th on Big Machine Records. The worldwide release across all digital retailers includes 15 tracks with LBB co-writing or co-producing more than half, while collaborating with producers Nathan Chapman, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts and Tyler Cain.
The effervescent entertainer will give fans an early preview – and surprisingly candid look – across her social media platforms. Beginning today, LBB will reveal new content including photos, video, audio snippets and behind-the-song stories. See a preview here. Pre-order Another Piece Of Me on May 26th – with two full tracks made available leading up to the official release – and watch the brand new music video for “I Am What I Am.”
“Much of my career has involved playing characters that have been created for me but this album is something completely different and the most personal body of work I’ve ever done … it is the real me,” shared LBB. “I’m thrilled to show fans that we all have a spectrum of emotions throughout our lives. ‘Kentucky Dirty’ and ‘Two Step’ show my playfulness and humor to crank up for a random dance party. But ‘China and Wine’ and ‘Another Piece Of Me’ are more introspective, reflecting how I’ve dealt with the occasional sadness and messiness that life throws you. I hope everyone truly feels like they know Another Piece Of Me after listening.”
With an infectious energy and wealth of dynamic skills, LBB sprung into the national spotlight with prominent roles on television shows (Hart of Dixie and Anger Management most recently) and on Broadway (Legally Blonde and Wicked, among others), where she garnered a Tony Award nomination. A songwriter since the age of 14, the Kentucky native effortlessly reveals her versatility with punchy melodies, playful lyrics showcasing both vulnerable and empowering themes.
LBB will take on the Belk Park Stage during CMA Music Festival in Nashville on Friday, June 12 from 4:05 – 4:30 pm. She will perform new songs as well as “Two Step,” which she performed while touring with Rascal Flatts.
