Video is available now

Multi-platinum selling country stars Lauren Alaina and Jon Pardi team up for a Bonnie and Clyde-esque romp in the โ€œGetting Over Himโ€ music video. In the clip, directed by sister-brother duo Alexa and Stephen Kinigopoulos, the country singers play up the roles of vibrant vixen meets king of bad decisions as the sordid characters take on an ill-fated crime and a fleeting romance.

Written by Alaina with Emily Weisband and Paul DiGiovanni, โ€œGetting Over Himโ€ follows Alaina’s recent Top 30 hit โ€œGetting Goodโ€ and it serves as the title track for the starโ€™s September 2020 EP. Getting Over Him features a collection of six self-penned songs earning praise for its embodiment of self-confidence, empowerment, and resilience. In addition to โ€œGetting Over Him,โ€ standout tracks include โ€œRunโ€ and the โ€œsubtly powerful, reflective piano balladโ€ (The Tennessean) featuring pop sensation Lukas Graham, โ€œWhat Do You Think Of?โ€

Last spring, the singer released Getting Good EP. Last summer, the Georgia native released a special mix of โ€œGetting Goodโ€ which features her friend/mentor, superstar Trisha Yearwood to digital platforms.
