“Oh Baby” and “I Used To” Remixes available August 10th
LCD Soundsystem has announced that it will release a pair of new 12 inch singles on August 10th. “Oh Baby” and “I Used To” will be available individually at the duo’s online store. The songs are from the duo’s Grammy-winning No. 1 album, American Dream, released last fall on Columbia Records/DFA.
The singles feature mixes from Berlin circuit veteran Dixon and L.A. tastemaker Lovefingers, as well as a vinyl release of American Dream bonus track “Pulse (v.1).”
American Dream‘s No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 is LCD Soundsystem’s highest ever chart position, its previous peak being third album This Is Happening reaching No. 10 in 2010. American Dream’s UK debut at No. 3 also marks a career high for LCD Soundsystem in that territory.
LCD Soundsystem’s fourth album and its first in seven years, American Dream, is available on vinyl and CD and a special cassette edition, as well as digitally.
