The digital release is available now
LCD Soundsystem has released “X-Ray Eyes (Extended Trash Can Dub),” its first remix of a song since 2022. The extended remix was previously available as the B-side of the “X-Ray Eyes” limited edition white label 12-inch vinyl sold exclusively at the band’s shows and online.
Quantities have been limited to 100 each night of the recent Los Angeles residency and the ongoing New York City run of shows, with every copy numbered as well as stamped with the venue and date. 500 will be available for pre-order via DFA Records. A general, non-screen printed version of the 12-inch release will follow.
LCD Soundystem’s New York City residency is underway at the Knockdown Center in Queens, New York. Its 12 shows take place over three weekends, November 21-24, December 5-8, and December 12-15. The residency includes various live openers, afterparties featuring special guest DJs, a DFA Records swap meet, an on-site Four Horsemen wine bar, and more.
