The track is an alternate mix of the famous song
Led Zeppelin has released the official music video for “Whole Lotta Love (Rough Mix with Vocal)” one week away from the band’s first three albums being released in Deluxe Edition formats.
The five minute video is made up of live concert footage interspersed with a few behind the scenes clips of the band on tour.
The famous track is previously unreleased from Led Zeppelin II, and is heard before the some of its most recognizable parts were recorded, including the first chorus, vocal overdubs, percussive middle section and guitar solo.
“Whole Lotta Love” which will be included on the Companion Audio Disc for Led Zeppelin II, and features other previously unreleased studio outtakes that were recorded during the time of the original recording sessions including an unheard of track, “La La.”
Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III will be available in a variety of formats including single CD, 2 CD Deluxe Edition, original album vinyl, Deluxe Edition vinyl, a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box and all digital formats including HD on June 3rd via Swan Song/Rhino.
The remaining six Zeppelin albums are set to receive the same treatment by the end of 2015.
