New project drops later this month

Lil Yachty will release his latest studio album, Let’s Start Here, on January 27th via Quality Control Music/Motown Records. Details about the project are unclear, but the rapper shared the artwork on Tuesday (Jan 17th) on social media.

“Let’s start here. 1/27. LP. Thank You 4 Your Patience friends,” he tweets.

The track listing is forthcoming, but last fall, the 24-year old Atlanta native and Grammy-nominated artist released his internet-toppling, viral hit “Poland.” The standalone track has quickly taken the world by storm, with Yachty’s frank yet infectious hook inspiring an outpouring of media coverage, memes, fan-created covers, and even renaissance-style artwork of his storied voyage to Poland.

He also took his love for pizza to the next level with the launch of his first-ever line of frozen pizza, Yachty’s Pizzeria, for sale exclusively in Walmart stores across the country. Yachty’s Pizzeria is the first offering from Deep Cuts, the US brand for a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands (UMGB), the brands partnership division of Universal Music Group (UMG), and manufactured by Richelieu Foods.

Lil Yachty has utilized his unmatched sense of what’s next to expand his career into other entertainment verticals, and to delve into the business realm. He has amassed a growing list of projects and investments, including developing a heist movie based on the beloved card game Uno, partnering with Reese’s Puffs cereal, launching his own cryptocurrency YachtyCoin, investing in the novel dating-app Lox Club with Bhad Bhabie, partnering with Amazon on a variety show for their new app Amp and more.
