Both set to appear at Stagecoach this weekend

Groundbreaking country artist Lily Rose stays pushing boundaries, showcasing how far the genre can go with a red hot new Diplo collaboration, “Sad In The Summer,” the first track on his highly anticipated album Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant, available everywhere now.

“It’s pretty surreal to me that I’m not only part of Diplo’s new project, but featured on track number one,” shares Rose. “I spun the hell outta his first country collab project and it’s a huge honor to get to say I’m on the second one. Massive thank you to Diplo and the whole team for making this bucket list moment happen!”

Written by Rose with labelmate Griffen Palmer, Geoff Warburton, Ben Johnson, Diplo, King Henry and Picard Brothers, “Sad In The Summer” finds Rose holding on to the fleeting joy of both the summer season and a seasonal relationship, desperate for a love to last as the year cools down. The track showcases Rose’s buttery vocals mixed to perfection over a signature Diplo beat.

“Sad In The Summer” drops just before Rose hits the stage at California’s highly-anticipated Stagecoach Music Festival on Saturday, April 29th. Diplo will also make his third appearance at the festival with his Late Night in Palomino festival closer while also curating his own stage, Diplo’s HonkyTonk, all weekend long.

Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant also includes collaborations with Dove Cameron, Sturgill Simpson reborn as Johnny Blue Skies, Paul Cauthen, Sierra Ferrell, Morgan Wade, Parker McCollum, Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel.

Rose started the year strong with sold out headlining shows nationwide and made her television debut with a performance of “Whatcha Know About That” at the 2023 CMT Awards. She’s on the bill for some of the summer’s hottest fairs and festivals before joining Sam Hunt’s Summer On The Outskirts Tour and wrapping her year on Shania Twain’s Queen of Me Tour.
