Linkin Park announces ‘Meteora’ 20th anniversary deluxe reissue

Each format will include a wealth of previously unreleased content

Linkin Park will reissue its second album, Meteora, for its 20th anniversary on April 7th via Warner Bros. Records, containing unreleased songs, demos, B-sides, live shows and never before seen behind-the-scenes footage. The band’s groundbreaking project was released in March 2003 and included the global hit singles “Somewhere I Belong,” “Faint,” “Numb,” “Breaking The Habit” and “From The Inside.” It has sold over eight million copies in the US and has been certified multi-Platinum, Platinum, or Gold in 15 countries.

To mark the 20th anniversary of this landmark release, the project is being reissued in multiple formats, including 12 disc Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box Set, 4 LP Deluxe Vinyl Box, Deluxe 3 CD and digital. Each version will contain a wealth of previously unreleased or rare tracks, including unreleased songs such as “Lost,” a fully realized track from the 2002 album recording sessions featuring stunning vocals from Chester Bennington.

The Super Deluxe set includes 5 LPs with the original album on single LP, Live in Texas making its debut vinyl release on 2 LP, and the previously unreleased Live in Nottingham 2003 across 2 LPs. The four CDs in the set feature the original album, LPU Rarities 2.0, Live Rarities 2003-2004 and the previously unreleased Lost Demos. Three DVDs are also included containing four previously unreleased concerts from Veterans Stadium in 2003, Seoul in 2003, Manila in 2004 and Denver in 2004. The Making of Meteora/The Art of Meteora and the new Work in Progress lifestyle documentary will also be included.

The Super Deluxe package includes a 40-page book; poster of the Meteora wall; litho created by Delta, the street artist featured on the album cover; retro sticker sheet, Linkin Park logo stencil; and hi-res digital download card.

The individually released 4 LP and 3 CD sets each contain Meteora, LPU Rarities 2.0 and Live Rarities 2003-2004. The 4 LP deluxe set will not include the original Andy Wallace mix of “Lost.”
