The album debuts at No. 1 in ten countries
Linkin Park’s universally acclaimed new full-length LP, From Zero, is the No. 1 rock album in the world this week. It bowed at No. 1 on charts in 10 countries, including The UK, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand. In the United States, it arrived at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, notching the highest debut for any rock album this year and marking the group’s ninth Top 3 entry on the respective chart. It has also notably sold over 96.6K units in the U.S. alone and takes the top spot across six Billboard charts: Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, Vinyl Albums, and Indie Store Album Sales.
The band featuring its new lineup will return to the road for the second iteration of the From Zero World Tour in 2025. Canvasing the globe, the next leg commences on January 31st in Mexico City, MX, visits major markets globally, and comes to a close on November 15th in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The UK and European stadium shows sold out in record time, with just a few tickets remaining for the European festival dates. Special guests Queens of the Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS will join on select dates.
Linkin Park ignited this season with “The Emptiness Machine.” It has exploded as the No. 1 rock song in the country and the biggest rock song of 2024. It made a rapid climb to No. 1 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart and Alternative Airplay Chart. In total, the band has scored a staggering 13 No. 1 entries on the latter chart (the second-most in history) with three in the last 18 months. Thus far, “The Emptiness Machine” has gathered a quarter of a billion global streams and counting. “Heavy Is The Crown” followed fast in the same path, and earlier this month the band delivered a scorching performance of the League of Legends Worlds anthem at the 2024 World Championship opening ceremony at the O2 Arena in London. The band set the final stage for From Zero with the Emily-led “Over Each Other,” and the surprise drop of “Two Faced” just days before the album launch.
