Linkin Park scores No 1 with ‘The Emptiness Machine’

The song tops the rock & alternative radio charts

Linkin Park has officially delivered the No. 1 rock song in the country with “The Emptiness Machine.” This week, the single just vaulted to the top of the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart and Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart. It not only accomplished “the quickest jump to No. 1 in two years” on the Alternative Airplay Chart, but it also soared as the group’s 13th career No. 1 on the respective chart, tying them for “second-most No. 1 entries in the chart’s history.” It marks their 11th career No. 1 on the rock chart, plus “The Emptiness Machine” stands out as the band’s third consecutive No. 1 on both charts in the last two years.

In other big news, their hard-hitting single “Heavy Is The Crown” dropped last week. It has already amassed 22 million streams and 37 million YouTube views on the music video.

The band is in the midst of their six-date arena run for the From Zero World Tour, which sold out in mere minutes. Due to heavy demand, they have announced three additional stadium shows for 2024 in Paris, Dallas, and São Paulo. LP Underground fan club exclusive presales start September 25th and general on-sales start September 27th.

“Heavy Is The Crown” and “The Emptiness Machine” pave the way for Linkin Park’s first album since 2017, From Zero, on November 15th via Warner Records.
