Listen free to Howard Stern’s Birthday Bash

SiriusXM has announced that Howard Stern’s Birthday Bash, featuring musical performances by Jon Bon Jovi, John Fogerty and Steven Tyler, will be broadcast free to the entire world on January 31st.

The live broadcast will be streamed online for free at with a pre-show starting at 4 pm ET on Friday, January 31st. Jimmy Kimmel hosts the main event which will start at 6 pm ET live from New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.

“I am honored by the number of performers who want to join me on stage, and the number of fans who want to get in,” Howard said. “Now, thanks to SiriusXM, I can give the world access to this event for free through this special internet audio stream in addition to my fans listening on their satellite radios.”

The free stream will be available on compatible mobile devices as well as online through simple one-click listening and you won’t have to download an app or enter credentials. A free encore presentation will air Monday, February 3rd at 6 am ET through the free stream for those who can’t listen to the live broadcast.

Other confirmed guests include Louis C.K., David Letterman and Sarah Silverman with more expected to be revealed on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM Howard 100 and Howard 101 throughout the next week.

SiriusXM and Stern are also giving one lucky fan and a guest a chance to win “The King Of All Prizes” which includes roundtrip airfare, two nights in a hotel and two tickets to the bash. The winner will also walk the red carpet along with the hottest stars and sit next to a Wack Packer and enjoy incredible musical performances. The winner will even get their picture taken with Stern’s sidekick, Gary “Baba Booey” Dell’Abate, and receive a VIP gift bag.

The contest is only open to active SiriusXM subscribers since October 28, 2013 who are a legal resident of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia, or a legal resident of Alaska or Hawaii who has a standalone SiriusXM Internet Radio subscription, or a legal resident of Puerto Rico who has a Sirius Satellite radio subscription. Entries will be accepted until January 23rd at noon ET.
